PODCASTS I LISTEN TO

AND LOVE

Jamie Ivey

I am placing this girl first because she definitely deserves first, The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey. My goodness her guests are just the best. And Jamie just flat out has a fun personality. She has been doing it awhile and certainly has it down. My pet peeve is poor quality sound, since my husband engineers and produces an award winning syndicated radio show, this makes me an expert on sound quality! Both Jamie and her guests come across loud and clear and she also has a cool intro theme.   She recently started an addition to her podcast called “If you only knew” which is the title of her new book. They are an added bonus to her already  heart melting and motivating subjects. So FIRST try The Happy Hour then if you trust my suggestions go on to the rest. Happy listening!

Kat Lee

Kat’s show Inspired to Action is highly motivating. Even though it may be geared more towards the younger mom crowd and not us Grandmas, I still get spiritually fed from her discussions with her guests. Inspired to Action has a variety to its episodes. Some may be encouragement to get dinner on the table while others have a message that speaks to the brokenness in us. Lots of episodes on itunes to give you a great choice.

Emmerson Eggerichs

Now this guy changed my marriage with his book Love & Respect. Good therapy in that book! Now his podcast The Love and Respect Podcast is just as insightful. Please add this one to your list. You will be glad you did especially if you are facing struggles with your spouse. And don’t we all somedays.
